We will overcome by the word of our Testimony

john 8:14

Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

I just shared my Testimony at a church group for Recovery in which i go , but when i read John 8:14 it reminded me of Jesus when he answered, Even if i do bear witness myself , my testimony is true, for i know where i came

When it mention i knew where i came it ring a bell in my mind because i had shared all the garbage in my passed which is so hard to do in front of people but the bible also God's Word tells us to confess our faults to each other so we may be healed. (James 5:16)

All though i was Re-living the passed but it was very healing to me because we are knew Creatures in Christ Jesus .

“He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:29-31

God has giving me the strength to get in front of people to share my life story in 30 minutes which is hard to do but i can say it was moving to others and it helps others to know they do not have to be afraid to share

your Testimony if your in a safe place .

I remember when i lived the Bar life i had many parties i would go to did all kind of things iam not proud of, but I do remember most of the times in the Bars i would go Home alone , There was a very deep feeling alone and when i was with someone they did not understand me .When i am around God's people

and sharing , there is compassion and understanding and prayers are lifted up , Mostly there is support.

When this life is over the bible says And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

QUOTE FOR TODAY

To what end is pain? I do not clearly know. But I have noticed that when one who has not suffered draws near to one in pain, there is rarely much power to help. There is not the understanding that leaves the suffering thing comforted, though perhaps not a word was spoken.
What if every stroke of pain, or hour of weariness or loneliness, or any other trial of flesh or spirit, could carry us a pulsebeat nearer some other life, some life for which the ministry of prayer is needed; would it not be worthwhile to suffer? Ten thousand times yes. And surely it must be so, for the further we are drawn into the fellowship of Calvary with our dear Lord, the tenderer we are toward others, the closer alongside does our spirit lie with them that are in bonds; as being ourselves also in the body. God never wastes His children's pain.
~Amy Charmichael

We will overcome
By the blood of the Lamb
And the word of our testimony
Everyone overcome

PRAYER

Dear Lord thank you that all your children are in this together . the pain the suffering the hurts , Habbits , the Addictions , You help your people to help others and to be strong and without you lord we are nothing , Thank you for your love and grace and power because with God all things are possible Amen

Do not lose Heart

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal

Just a thought i took this photo some days back from my BedRoom Window and it was a site to see how God can really paint a beautiful picture of his Creation ...The colors where so nice to see ...although we do not fix our eyes on things we do not see in the spiritual world
its a blessings to see what we can see in the creation of God

Just how much blessing it will be someday when the things we do not see will be a greater blessing in our life and all the Rewards that God has for his children who believe in him .

Sometimes problems come and surround us and sometimes it is good to take a look at something to catch our eyes such as the beautiful photo i took of this picture of God's handi -work and remember he is in control of my situration Stay FOCUSED, For The Earth Is Longing To SEE My GLORY!...Stay FOCUSED, And It Will Be SEEN! Says The LORD Of The Host.

God is still in control, I am just Grateful God is in Control not me
He surely knows far more than i do and creates events in my life that i can far more dream of.

may you have a bless day

prayer.....God help us in Jesus name to see the light and smell the good side of life instead of the busy life we see everyday ...Help us to know what is important which is you in our live in Jesus name Amen

God brought him back

“It is appointed unto men once to die; and then cometh the judgment”

(Hebrews 9:27).

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

ITS STRANGE HOW WE MEET PEOPLE SOMETIMES , I DO NOT BELIEVE NOTHING IS BY ACCIDENT.
I MET THIS GUY WHO SAID HE WAS 33 YEARS OLD HE WAS SITTING OUT SIDE LATE ONE NIGHT AND I HAPPENED TO PASS BY HIM AND WE HAD A CHAT AND I NOTICE HIS HAND WAS
PARALYED AND HE TOLD ME HE WAS PARALYED FROM HIS RIGHT SIDE ALL THE WAY DOWN TO HIS FEET. I ASK THE MAN WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND HE SAID HE WAS SHOT NOT JUST ONCE BUT THREE TIMES IN DIFFRENT TIMES IN HIS LIFE , I STARTED TO ASK HIM QUESTIONS ON A DEEPER LEVEL BEING I WAS A CHRISTIAN BUT FIRST I SAID WHAT DO YOUR TATTOOS SAY , HE MENTION THEY ARE
SIGNS WHEN I WAS IN THE STREET GANGS , YOU SEE MY MOM AND FATHER HAD ABANDONED HIM, WHEN HE WAS A KID AND NEVER PAID MUCH ATTENTION TO HIM AND HE WAS IN THE GANG TO GET THE ATTENTION HE NEEDED WHEN HE WAS A KID ,HE TALKED ABOUT HOW HE WAS SO MUCH INVOLVED IN DRUGS AND ALCOHAL ... I WAS IMPRESS HOW HUMBLE HE SEEMS AND NOT SO ANGRY BUT AS I POOR OUT MORE QUESTIONS I SAID (SHOT THREE TIMES ?)
HE SAID YES AND THE LAST TIME HE WAS SHOT AND DIED FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES.
I ASK HIM WHAT DID HE EXPERIENCED FOR THOSE 30 MINUTES OF BEING DEAD AND HE SHARED DARKNESS , TORTURE, PEOPLE SCREAMING , I SEEM MOVIES ON THIS THROUGH CHRISTIAN TV BUT NOW IAM FACE TO FACE WITH A GUY WHO TOLD ME FACE TO FACE ...I SAID TO HIM THEN WHAT HAPPENED? HE SAID HE SAW A LIGHT AND I ASK HIM WAS IT GOD AND HE SAID YES AND HE SAID GOD SEES EVERYTHING WE DO
HE SAID GOD IS LIGHT , ALL LIGHT AND HE TOLD ME TO GO BACK AND HE WOKE UP .

I TOLD HIM HE WAS A MIRACLE THAT HE IS ALIVE AND THAT GOD GAVE YOU ANOTHER CHANCE TO LIVE AGAIN , HE AGREED BUT HE WAS STRUGGLING TO SERVE GOD BUT I CAN TELL GOD HAS A PLAN FOR HIS LIFE ...HE DID NOT EVEN HAD TO TELL ME THAT . THIS MAN TOLD ME AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM THAT HIS MOM AND DAD ARE VERY CLOSE TO HIM NOW AND I SAID I WAS GLAD FOR HIM ..SOMETIMES TRAGIC SITURATIONS TURN THE EVENTS OF PEOPLE MINDS TO A NEW DIRECTION BUT SADLEY IN THIS MANS CASE HE HAD TO BE SHOT THREE TIMES ....GOD SAID IT IS APPOINTED FOR MAN ONCE TO DIE THEN AFTER THAT THE JUDEMENT ..HOW TRUE BECAUSE THERE WILL BE SOMETHING AFTER THIS LIFE IS OVER ,HELL OR HEAVEN AND WE NEED TO BE READY TO MEET YOUR MAKER ...THIS REALLY WOKE ME UP EVEN AS A CHRISTIAN BECAUSE ITS REALITY, GOD LOVED THAT GUY SO MUCH TO GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE IN THIS EVIL WORLD I BELIEVE TO MAKE A DIFFRENCE EVEN THOUGH HE STRUGGLES RIGHT NOW
BUT HE ALSO HAS A PLAN FOR HIM AND FOR YOU ......I HOPE WE DONT WAIT TILL WE ARE SHOT THREE TIMES .

1 Corinthians 2 :9 "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him"

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

—Matthew 10:28

I WAS VERY GLAD TO MEET THIS GUY AND I ENCOURAGED HIM TO SEEK GOD MORE IN HIS LIFE
BUT IAM SURE HE WILL .

QUOTE ABOUT HELL

This does not mean that God will be completely absent from hell. He is and will remain omnipresent (Ps. 139:7-8). To be separated from the Lord and cast into hell does not mean that a person will finally be free of God. That person will remain eternally accountable to Him. He will remain Lord over the person’s existence. But in hell, a person will be forever separated from God in His kindness, mercy, grace, and goodness. He will be consigned to deal with Him in His holy wrath.

Tom Ascol

QUOTE ABOUT HEAVEN

Blessed be God! There shall be no sorrow in heaven. There shall not be one single tear shed within the courts above. There shall be no more disease and weakness and decay; the coffin, and the funeral, and the grave, and the dark-black mourning shall be things unknown. Our faces shall no more be pale and sad; no more shall we go out from the company of those we love and be parted asunder – that word, farewell, shall never be heard again. There shall be no anxious thought about tomorrow to mar and spoil our enjoyment, no sharp and cutting words to wound our souls; our wants will have come to a perpetual end, and all around us shall be harmony and love.

RYER

PRAYER

DEAR LORD AS I SPOKEN OF THIS GUY I PRAY YOU DRAW HIM CLOSER TO YOU BY YOUR SPIRIT
BUT I ALSO PRAY FOR US TO ALWAYS BE READY AND TURN TO YOU FOR YOU CARE FOR US AND DIED FOR US ....
BUT YOU ALSO DID NOT MAKE US AS A ROBOT BUT FREEDOM TO MAKE A CHOICE AND HELP US TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR SON IN JESUS NAME AMEN

The Steps of a Good Man

DO NOT REJOICE OVER ME, MY EMEMY, WHEN I FALL, I WILL ARISE :
WHEN I SIT IN DARKNESS, THE LORD WILL BE MY LIGHT TO ME.
MICAH 7:7

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

Sometimes the Devil or your Enemies can be against you or you fall in to sin
ever get those days that it seems so dark with addictions and frustrations ?
I have and i had many as a child of God but the bible says in Psalms 37:23-24 The steps of a good man are ordered by the lord, and he delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down ,for the Lord
upholds him with his hand.

I think we sometimes do not realized how much the lord loves us though he fall, he shall utterly cast down,The lord upholds him with his hand , What more truth is that ,He died on the cross for you so no matter what you do you can always come back to the loving hands of the lord .

Job kept his faith in hard times and Job had many reasons to give up as a human but Job loved God ...Even Job wife said in Job 2:9 Then his wife said to him , Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse
God and die .

God says to you ..You are a Giants and you can overcome your battles of this life trust him .
because even when life and circumstances seems out of control God knows what he is doing because he is still the same yesterday to day and forever Hebrews 13:8 ...
The Enemy's strategy is to discouraged you in this time we are living in , Do not believe the lies ..
Believe what the word of God says about you .

QUOTE FOR TODAY

A man can no more take in a supply of grace for the future than he can eat enough for the next six months, or take sufficient air into his lungs at one time to sustain life for a week. We must draw upon God's boundless store of grace from day to day, as we need it.

Don't let Depression take control

1 Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

Race car driving champion Bill Vukovich won the infamous Indianapolis 500 race two times, a record of success few others have achieved. When asked about the secret of his success in the race, Vukovich simply replied, “There’s no secret. You just press the accelerator to the floor and steer left.”

Sometimes we have a tendency to complicate things when it comes to serving the Lord. But like race car driving, there’s really no secret, just move forward and finish the race! The only thing I would change about Bill’s advice is steer RIGHT!!

Are you struggling with confusion, discouragement or anxiety about things of the Lord? God is not a God of confusion, discourage...Sometimes in the worst times in our life God is working all things together for our good . Remember He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45 (New King James Version) We are in the world but not of this world . God cares for his chosen people your life is in his hands because he knows we are nothing but dust. When your feeling down always remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!’ The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. (Lamentations 3:19-26) (Also read Lamentations 1:1-6; Psalm 137; 2 Timothy 1:1-14; Luke 17:5-10) In this text, Jeremiah calls us to a renewed life at the beginning of each new day: “But this I call to mind: and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:21-23, NRSV).

YOUR ARE IN A RACE

Defeat! He lay there silently, a tear dropped from his eye, "
There's no sense running anymore- three strikes and I'm out- why try?"
The will to rise has disappeared, all hope had fled away,
So far behind, so error prone, closer all the way.

"I've lost, so what's the use", he thought "I'll live with my disgrace."
But then he thought about his dad who soon he'd have to face.
Get up, and echo sounded low, get up and take your place.
You were not meant for failure here, so get up and win the race.
With Borrowed will, "Get up!", It said, "You haven't lost at all,
For winning is not more than this, to rise each time you fall."

So he rose to win once more, and with new commitment he resolved to win
Or lose, at least he wouldn't quit.
So far behind the others now, the most he'd ever been,
Still he gave it all he had, and ran as though to win.
Three times he'd fallen stumbling, three times he rose again.
To far behind to hope to win, he still ran to the end.
ment or anxiety! Let’s get back to the basics today. God created us, loves us unconditionally and wants to free us from all our entanglements that we may be holy as He is holy, that we may be able to love Him with all our heart, soul, strength and mind and love our neighbor as ourselves! We’re in this together, for the win! Remember God is in control of your life and will help you though .Sometimes in the worst siturations of our life God is working all things for good .

QUOTE

God sometimes permits Satan to assail His dear children, the more to strengthen them in His spiritual graces, and to confirm them more fully in the assurance of His love and their salvation.

For as a city which has been once besieged and not sacked will ever after be more strong to hold out if it be assaulted by the like danger.... so those who are besieged and assaulted by their spiritual enemies will ever after more carefully arm themselves against them with the graces of God's Spirit, that they may not be overcome nor foiled by them.

—George Downame

PRAYER

Dear lord help us when we feel low and down and wanting to give up ..Help us know you love us and have reason to help us in the dark ....Help us to know you will work things out in our life and that you are in fully control Amen

Running from God

Hebrews 12:1-2 “

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

Are you running from God? Many people today certainly are trying, but you can't run from an omnipresent God. Why do people run from God anyway? Why attempt the impossible? John 3:20 gives us the answer in simplest of terms... "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." Sin is the culprit. The reason why most people run from God is because of their love for sin.

Jonah ran from God... "Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD." God had instructed Jonah to go preach to the city of Nineveh, but Jonah disobeyed. The Assyrians were reputed as a brutal people, known for torture, whose warriors often sawed their victims into pieces. I could understand why Jonah would have been reluctant to go to Nineveh, the capital of the Assyrian empire. Yet, God never tells us to do something that we are unable to do. Jonah feared man more than God. Matthew 10:28 states... "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." We ought to fear God more than sinful, finite, men.

The Bible story we read today is a very simple and well known Bible story. God commanded Jonah to go the city of Nineveh, and speak out about sin that has taken over the city. Jonah chose to run away from this command and get on a boat headed to Tarshish. God responded to Jonah’s disobedience with a mighty storm. The sailors on the boat grew very scared, and tried to figure out what was bringing this storm upon them. Jonah knew what he had done in that running from God was wrong, and told the sailors to throw him into the sea. Jonah was swallowed up by a big fish, and was in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights. I believe Jonah’s prayer to God is one of the strongest prayers of the Bible. The fish spat Jonah out on the land. Jonah, then accepted God’s call for him to go to Nineveh.
It easy to see how Jonah ran from God. How do we run from God? I’m so busy, maybe later I will have more time to devote to God. Life is hard, maybe I need to straighten my life up a little before I really walk with God. I can’t find a church I like, do you have to go to church? I know what I am doing is wrong, but I’m young, and I have plenty of time later in life to straighten up.
Whatever the excuse or reason, we often run from God. God calls us to put Him first in our lives. Jonah ran, and paid the price. We simply need to stop running and accept and confess Christ into our lives.

poetry

I Run to you

I run to you when the night is filled with darkness
I run to you when the day is full of troubles
I run to you when life is hard to face my battles
I run to you when the storms have tried to control me
life is worth it all i run to you.

There is times when i cried myself to sleep
afraid to wake up the next day because im weak
you gave me a light inside my self to seek
my saviors hand is holding mine so tight
you never let go even if i wonder away from your feet

Your love is so strong like a thunder in the night
you gave me wings to sing on holy ground i run to you.

I run to you when mountains are to high to climb
i run to you when no body elese to face
you give me a song to my everlasting days
I run to you

Jesus i run to you

For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54: 10

QUOTE

When a person is sick, the doctor may prescribe medicine. What heals the man? Is it the medicine, or his reaching out for the medicine? Christ is the only solution for your problem of sin and judgment. He is the medicine. Who else but Christ can rescue you and bring you into the forgiven family of God? He is the exclusive way to God. He is a narrow way, but a sufficient one. But how do you reach out to Christ? By repentance and faith.

Jim Elliff

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, thank you for giving us your word. We read how Jonah is a lot like us in that he ran from what You wanted him to do. Help me today to stop running from You, and to grow closer to you each day that I live. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Thought Question: In what areas in my own life do I run from God? How can I stop running from God?

but I don’t FEEL forgiven…

but I don’t FEEL forgiven…

If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].
1 John 1: 9

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

As a Christian, have you ever had the thought, “I’m no different than I was,” or, “I just don’t feel forgiven”? Maybe you struggle with the same sin patterns that used to control your life. Maybe you find yourself having fallen into the same sins over and over again.

The prophet Isaiah speaks of this struggle and gives us hope when he says: “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I [God] am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” Is. 43:18-19

Sometimes I look at my life and see a wasteland of sin-wrecked scars and habits that still remain to some degree. As a non-believer, I lived a life of sin that I am now ashamed of. I was proud and selfish and did what my heart desired. And sometimes those reminders of my past leave me feeling guilty and not really living in the good of the gospel of Christ.

We tend to drag up our old sins, that we tend to live under a vague sense of guilt…we are not nearly as vigorous in appropriating God’s forgiveness as He is in extending it. Consequently, instead of living in the sunshine of God’s forgiveness through Christ, we tend to live under an overcast sky of guilt most of the time. Jerry Bridges, The Gospel for Real Life

Christ’s blood has cleansed us, not so that we should now live a life full of guilt and fear, but to live joyfully and abundantly in the forgiveness which He freely has granted to us. Let us thank God for His forgiving grace and the mercy He extended to us.

I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. Is. 43:25

"Forgiveness" Lyrics
Christian singer Bob Carlisle wrote a great song on forgiveness

Verse 1:
I say I will, but then I won't
Say I do, but then I don't.
It happens every day,
I hate the sinner,
Love the sin.
It's a sorry state I'm in.
I've got to get away.

Every time I throw that stone
The fate I'm sealing is my own.
Do you know how much I need....

Chorus:
Forgiveness - forgiveness
I can't live without.
Forgiveness - forgiveness
That's what love's about.
Forgiveness.

Verse 2:
I say forgive and then forget,
But I ain't learned to do it yet.
You'd think I'd know by now
I know how to hurt someone,
Been on both sides of that gun,
Pulled the trigger anyhow.

When I'm hurting someone else
I only hurt myself.
I've got to let it go.

Chorus:....

A thousand wrongs don't make a right
And nobody wins
When the bridges start burning.
Can't you hear my cry?

If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator.
If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist.
If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist.
If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer.
But our greatest need was forgiveness, so God sent us a Savior.

Where will you Turn?

Where Will You Turn?
Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord."
— Job 1:20–21

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

When tragedy strikes—and it is not a matter of if, but when—it will have one of two effects in our lives. Either we will have our faith strengthened, and we will turn to God for comfort, or we will become angry at God and turn away from Him.

Hardships in life either will make you better or bitter. You decide which one it will be, because character is not made in crisis; it is revealed. It is when a crisis hits that we see what a man or woman is really made of. In the case of Job, we see him being exactly how God said he was: "a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil" (Job 1:8).

Sometimes situations can be much bigger than we are but who elese can you turn to is Jesus
things happen in this life nothing will last forever until we meet Jesus
I have lost many love ones in my life should i be angry with God (NO)

The Bible records a time when many people turned away from following Jesus. So Jesus turned to the disciples and asked, "Do you also want to go away?"

Peter said, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life . . ." (John 6:68). Loosely paraphrased: "Lord we don't always get You. But this much we know. You are the One, and we will keep following You."

This is one of the good things that can come out of crisis and suffering. You turn to God with dependence like you have never had before. Faith will not grow through ease and comfort; it will grow through challenge and difficulty.

QUOTE

Every person in the world, including yourself, will encounter various trials throughout life. Satan seeks to defeat you by tempting you to trust your own wisdom, to live according to your self-centered feelings, and to gratify the desires of your flesh. In contrast, God’s will is for you to be an overwhelming conqueror in all of these tests for His honor and glory.

Staying on track

Staying on Track

Hebrews 12
God Disciplines His Sons
1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

The Christian life can be likened to a race with a predetermined course and a finish line in eternity. Each believer has a personalized route specially designed by the Lord. Our goal is to stay on track and run with endurance, but the path can be discerned and negotiated only by focusing on Jesus. Because He ran the race perfectly and finished His course, He can show us the way.

As with any long-term race, the course is full of obstacles that threaten to trip or sidetrack us. Temptations lure us to what we imagine are lush green pastures, while busyness can lead us down rabbit trails that end in exhaustion. Worry and fear grab hold of our minds, and emotions take us places the Lord never intended for us to go.

Although sins present the most obvious hindrances, other obstacles and detours are subtler. Anything that takes precedence over our relationship with the Lord can send us down the wrong path. Because involvement in the daily activities of earthly life is necessary, we can easily let our families, jobs, and pleasures distract us from a wholehearted pursuit of Christ. Surprisingly, even God's blessings can become obstacles in the race if we start to pursue them more than we do the Lord.

We must remember that the goal isn't to focus on the path or to try and find our way; instead, we're to fix our eyes on Jesus. He is not only our guide but also our destination. And He will welcome us home with open arms when we finish the race and cross into eternity.

Ever heard christians say this problem i have is so much bigger then i have

it could be sexual sin or others you care not want to mention because of the shame ...Maybe you feel like a loser but deep down in side you really want to follow God word and plan for your life but feel so disconnected from God

Deep inside you want to be a warrior a fighter , The good news is Hold on because when all hell is breaking through God plan will Reveal if you do not give up .

Keep staying on track and he will guild you through .

I think of all the questions that I ask the Lord, and then I think of my stubborn streak against Him; I think of my inability or refusal to learn. I think of how many times God shows me the way of righteousness and how I turn away. I think of my faltering and failing steps and my outright rebellion against Him – even as a believer. Oh the patience of God and the riches of His forbearance and grace!

WE ALL FALL DOWN

WE ALL FALL DOWN

I Was in Church today and saw a guy i went to the Men retreat with
He was one of the guys who was in the car with with me as we drove to
the event.

I saw him a few times in church but i never had a chance to really
face him
face to face ,He is also on the worship team but for some reason he
has not been up front to play his instrument
If i remember he plays the key boards
I remembered in the car he said he had three kids
one boy who is about 16 and the girls are from 6 to 8 lets say
He himself is about 41 years of age.

He also mention in the car on the way in at the men retreat that him
and his wife is having problems but says he sure it will all work out.

Its been about more then a month since that event and the lord finally
let me run into him.

Before church he ask me how i am and i said i was still struggling
with issues then again who isnt . We all have some kind of battle.

He said i will talk to you after church because church was starting
and he had to
sit with his kids.

For me it was good to see this guy because you seem to have a bond
after a event like that and i was carious what he wanted to see me for
Was it just to catch up or to see how iam doing with my struggles or
was it something elese.

When church was over he ask me your still having your struggles and i
said yes
and he mention his wife filed for a devorce and i can see the emotion and sadness
in his face

we as bro's embraced and we both needed a Godly hug
as we hug it felt like a heavy load was taken off from me and im sure
he felt the same way.

I felt bad because i know a few people who are christians who are a
victim of devorced and i care for them very much.

My heart went out to this bro When he said im worried about the kids
and so on
and i told him it has to be difficult.

After we departed sometimes after i kept thinking about how we all
are in some
kind of battle and the truth is Jesus loves us regardless of our falls
and mistakes.

I RECALL A SCRIPTURE

Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify
(strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:11

My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not
allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not
slumber. Psalm 121:2-3

Sometimes it seems were is God in our issues and problems?
He said it wont be easy but he will walk with us and that he will
never leave us nor forsake us.
He also said nothing can separate us from his love no matter what
I think it helps to to know we all need a savior and he alone is holy
but on the other hand he did say if we say we have no sin we call him
a liar
but if we confess our sins he is faithful to forgive us our sins and
to cleanse us from all sin. 1 john 1:9

Most of the bible prophets failed God .....paul said he was the chief
of sinners.

God does not say its ok to sin but he is saying i love you and to keep
up the fight
but even soldiers lose battles and pick themselves back up.
Iam reminded by a scripture

Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, all
your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you
affectionately and cares about you watchfully. 1 Peter 5: 7

we all need to pick up are cross daily and come to the cross
and you can find peace and mercy .

Conquering Loneliness

Conquering Loneliness

Psalm 25:15-22

15 My eyes are ever on the LORD,
for only he will release my feet from the snare.

16 Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am lonely and afflicted.

17 The troubles of my heart have multiplied;
free me from my anguish.

18 Look upon my affliction and my distress
and take away all my sins.

19 See how my enemies have increased
and how fiercely they hate me!

20 Guard my life and rescue me;
let me not be put to shame,
for I take refuge in you.

21 May integrity and uprightness protect me,
because my hope is in you.

22 Redeem Israel, O God,
from all their troubles

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

I know the pain of loneliness. I was the only child and my mother Rejected me before i was born . Although my Grandmother took care of me i still had that deep pain of loneliness ,My adult life has been marked by periods of emotional isolation as well. However, God has never abandoned me to these feelings.
The Lord desires that all people feel connected to Him and to each other. And in fact, we can be quickly comforted when we respond wisely to loneliness.
The first step is to enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Believing He exists is not enough. The Lord created mankind for fellowship, which is why a relationship with Him gives people a sense of oneness. The love of Christ squeezes loneliness out of the lives of God's children.
Second, we must admit that we're lonely. Some Christians incorrectly think they shouldn't be susceptible to normal human feelings. But nothing in the Bible says we won't endure emotional isolation. Not only men like David and Paul, but even the Lord Himself knew the ache of feeling deserted (Ps. 25:16, 2 Tim. 4:16; Matt. 26:40; 27:46).
Finally, we ought to develop godly friends. These are the Christian brothers and sisters who will laugh, cry, and empathize with us. Above all, believers need friends who will continually point them to God and pray over them.
We can't deny feelings of loneliness, nor can we run from them. A person who seeks ways to escape those feelings only broadens the gap between the Lord and himself. There is just one way to close the chasm and conquer loneliness—by drawing near to the Lord

We sometimes out Fear we get ourselves in to trouble because of being Lonely but God is with you ..and he sill direct your path .

Psalm 73:24
You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.

Psalm 37:23
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.

God will direct you to someone rather to call someone or to go somewhere and sometimes he leads you to the right people or just going to church where you fellowship with other Christian

To be Onest Sometimes i feel lonely but i know what to do to get myself out of trap that the devil tries to make us believe we are alone ...I Know God is with me even when iam alone

so let us Hold on to God he surely will hold on to you .

Quote

God of our life, there are days when the burdens we carry chafe our shoulders and weigh us down; when the road seems dreary and endless, the skies grey and threatening; when our lives have no music in them, and our hearts are lonely, and our souls have lost their courage. Flood the path with light, run our eyes to where the skies are full of promise; tune our hearts to brave music; give us the sense of comradeship with heroes and saints of every age; and so quicken our spirits that we may be able to encourage the souls of all who journey with us on the road of life, to Your honour and glory.

Augustine

Prayer

Help in times of need lord , Give us strength to get through the days when we are feeling alone , Or just feeling you dont fit in but in you Dear lord we do fit in and can a light to others in Jesus name Amen

Do you have Enemies?

Deuteronomy 20:4
For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory."

Psalm 44:6-8
I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

Do you have enemies , Do you have bondage in your life that seems hard to get rid of ?

No matter how hard you try that Enemy (Bondage ) or it could be a person trying to threaten you

It could be Something you know for sure God is not please of in your life and all you want to do is please God.

Be not afraid the lord says in his word he will give you victory as you wait on him ...He will give you strength. He will give you .....

victory over your enemies . Sometimes we don't realize we are in a spiritual battle . Job in the bible knew

about that because he did not think he did anything wrong he lived a pleasing life before God but the Devil

told God if you take away his wealth his health he will turn his back on God .

The worst thing was his own wife said curse God and die ,But Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.

have your friends ever told you just do what you want this is too hard of a life or the voices of the Devil

saying in your mind turn your back on God and blame him its his falt?

Job was the riches man at his time he own so much and even his health was getting bad but still Job did not

blame God . The end of that story God gave him back much more than he had before and Job was blessed

Be careful do not blame God , blame your enemies who are against God ...God will take care of you

for he has a purpose for your life

Luke 10:19
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

We already have the authority because of the Cross , to have Victory but you might be like Paul who said

in Romans 7 that I do what i do not want to do but i do it anyway . Paul waited on God because of this struggle .

but at the end He said who will set me free from this power of bondage thank God through Jesus Christ he has set me free.

QUOTE

God creates out of nothing. Therefore, until a man is nothing, God can make nothing out of him.

Martin Luther

PRAYER

Dear God help us to increase our faith in you dear Lord help us fight the good fight of faith you given us help us to not listen to those voices that are against you . They cry out saying God does not care , God does not love me but we know those are our enemies telling us you do not care lord....Father help us to put on the full Armour of God in Jesus name Amen

God is in Control

God is in control

"In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty"
(Psalm 37:19, NIV)

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

We serve the God of more than enough! It doesn't matter what's happening around you, it doesn't matter what's happening in the economy, it doesn't matter what's happening in the stock market, God is able to provide for you. Notice today's verse doesn't just say He'll help you barely get by; no, it says that in days of famine His people will enjoy plenty.

The key is we have to get our minds off of this natural, earthly realm and start setting our minds on things above. Remember, there is no recession in heaven, but if you aren't investing in God's economy, you won't see the reward He has for you. Take a step of faith today and sow a seed. Ask God how you can be a blessing to others. Remember, you are a steward over His resources. When you choose to be obedient to Him, you will eat the good of the land. And when you tap into God's economy by obeying His Word, you will have His results—more than enough!
Let us set our minds on things above not on things that are in this world
we are in the world but not of the world . God is saying focus on him more and you will see results work in your life because you are seeking God first .

"The name of the LORD is a strong tower;
the righteous run to it and are safe."
Proverbs 18:10 New International Version

QUOTE

When we worship the Lord, let’s remember that He is in control. Nothing alarms Him, or takes Him by surprise. Nothing is too big for Him to handle, or so small it escapes His attention. When the winds of my world begin to blow, He remains seated. When raging waves surround me, He governs their temper…I need not be moved … Because the Lord is seated and sovereign…He alone is sovereign.

- Ronald James -

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for the resources You have given to me. Thank You for trusting me to be Your representative in the earth and for giving me more than enough. Show me how to handle the blessings You've given me so that I can please You in everything I do. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Hard Heart

Hard Heart

Psalm 68:5
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling

TODAY'S VERSE "He looked around at them angrily and was deeply saddened by their hard hearts." Mark 3:5 (NLT)

TODAY'S THOUGHT Here we see Jesus angry. The Pharisees, who thought they were so close to God because of their ability to follow the letter of the law, failed to see that it was better to follow God than their traditions. It angered Jesus to see mankind in their stubborn rebellion toward Him. It angered Him that the Pharisees thought God cared more about the law than a man that needed healing. But we also see another side of Jesus. From anger Jesus changes His demeanor to sadness. Sadness over how far we had gotten from Him. Sadness that we are blinded to the truth and that we allow our hearts to become hardened toward Him. So often we paint the picture of an angry God. A God who cannot tolerate our sin. A God who knows all the rules and expects us to live by the rules. Yet, there is the part of God that is saddened at our willful avoidance of Him. Our slow gradual hardening of our heart. Today, come to Him. Worship Him. Let His love soften Your heart again. God wants you to spend time with him , not run away from him .

TODAY'S PRAYER Father, I have let so many things come between me and You. I have allowed my heart to harden toward Your desire for my life. Forgive me. I come now and ask You to soften my heart again. In Jesus' name. AMEN

Psalm 27:14
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

Death it will happen to us all

Psalm 23:1-6

1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3 He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.
4 Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.
6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord
forever.

A time for everything - even death
Ecclesiastes 3:1-
A Time for Everything
1 For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
2 A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
3 A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
4 A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
6 A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
8 A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.

Hebrews 9:27

And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes judgment

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

We all know we will die Someday ... It seems like i lost many in my family
many friends and the list goes on . It was said when

Michael Jackson, died now the King of pop is dead
and then James Brown died

, The king of Soul is dead , and then Elvis Presley

the king of Rock in roll is dead ...But the King of Kings

Jesus Christ is still alive because he is not on the cross he died and Rose again and sitting at the right hand of God in heaven .

When you ask him into your life as your personal Savior his spirit will live in you
so he is not just up in heaven he lives in you .

My thoughts is the only way to get out of death is when the lord comes and the those who are alive will be caught up some called the (Rapture) those Christian will be caught up in the ski and the dead will raise to be with him forever and forever but you must be born again .

We are living in those days now called the last days (The beginning of Sorrows)

Life is very fragile and we do not know what will happened tomorrow but if we focus on the things of God
we will live ....For we are not going to live forever . All the people who did not believe in God will face God ...the sad thing is we all have no excuse because God has made it clear he is real just through creation .

Psalms 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts:

Be thankful you made it through another day because even the breath you take everyday comes from our God .

QUOTE

The very happiest persons I have ever met with have been departing believers. The only people for whom I have felt any envy have been dying members of this very church, whose hands I have grasped in their passing away. Almost without exception I have seen in them holy delight and triumph. And in the exceptions to this exceeding joy I have seen deep peace, exhibited in a calm and deliberate readiness to enter into the presence of their God.

C.H. Spurgeon
PRAYER

Dear Lord its your love and grace that we are breathing each moment , Help us not abuse your grace

your mercies and your love ..help us come to you but then again man is made with a choice ..I pray that choice that every man and woman would come to you in Jesus name Amen

Set the Tone

Set the Tone

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak His praises"
(Psalm 34:1, NLT)

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

When you wake up in the morning, do you expect the goodness of God in your life? Do you set the tone of the day for success, favor and blessing?

It doesn't matter what happened yesterday, last week, last month or last year; today is a new day. This moment, you have the power to make a change in your life. Things may be bad all around you. People may be negative, complaining and discouraged, but don't let that spirit rub off on you. Instead, choose to bless the Lord at all times. Let His praise continually be in your mouth. Remember, the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn shining brighter and brighter until the full day.

Stay determined to set the tone for each new day by speaking words of faith over your future. As you do, you'll enlarge your vision and make room for God to do amazing things in every area of your life!

The biggest thing we face is to forgive ourselves
learn to forgive yourself and let go of the past because yesterday is gone , What is important is right now .

QUOTE
When I become bitter or unforgiving toward others, I’m assuming that the sins of others are more serious than my sins against God. The cross transforms my perspective. Through the cross I realize that no sin committed against me will ever be as serious as the innumerable sins I’ve committed against God. When we understand how much God has forgiven us, it’s not difficult to forgive others.

C.J. Mahaney

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, I choose to bless You at all times. I choose to set the tone to receive Your favor, grace and mercy. Thank You for Your faithfulness to me at all times. Father i choose to forgive myself I choose to constantly speak Your praises! In Jesus' Name. Amen

Transformation

Transformation

TODAY'S VERSE "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we - are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. II Corinthians 3:17-18 (NIV)

TODAY'S THOUGHT God is in the transforming business. I have seen it over and over again. God transformed Joseph's situation. Joseph told his brothers, decades after they sold him to slave traders, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good." Terry Wardle, in his book "Wounded," writes about the transforming process he went through with the Holy Spirit, "I have experienced the healing hand of God, times of sweet intimate communion, and hard days when He seemed silent and uninvolved. - But of this I am sure: God has used these events to transform my life! - I can testify without hesitation that it is true - in God's hands the object of one's greatest pain does become the source of one's greatest blessing." There is freedom in Christ and He desires to transform you and I more and more into His likeness. Today bring your cares, burdens, and situations to Him and let Him begin to transform them.

The Eagle soars in the summit of Heaven,
The Hunter with his dogs pursues his circuit.
O perpetual revolution of configured stars,
O perpetual recurrence of determined seasons,
O world of spring and autumn, birth and dying!
The endless cycle of idea and action,
Endless invention, endless experiment,
Brings knowledge of motion, but not of stillness;
Knowledge of speech, but not of silence;
Knowledge of words, and ignorance of the Word.
All our knowledge brings us nearer to our ignorance,
All our ignorance brings us nearer to death,
But nearness to death no nearer to God.
Where is the Life we have lost in living?
Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge?
Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?
The cycles of Heaven in twenty centuries
Bring us farther from God and nearer to the Dust."

... T. S. Eliot, Choruses from "The Rock"

TODAY'S PRAYER Dear Holy Spirit, I ask that You transform my bondage into Your freedom. Transform my pain into Your blessing. Transform my life into Your likeness. In Jesus' name. AMEN

Maturity

Maturity

TODAY'S VERSE "Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you." II Corinthians 13:11 (NLT)

TODAY'S THOUGHT It was Paul's desire that the church in Corinth mature. The church was full of confusion, sin and strife but Paul did not give up. Instead, he sent them a letter and at the end of his writing he appealed one more time for them to mature. They needed to change their behavior if they were going to be effective in their Christian walk. Paul wanted them to be joyful and the way he suggested that they do that was to encourage each other. Joy comes from Godly encouraging relationships. Nothing is more important than each of us committing ourselves to encourage others. Nothing works like encouragement in helping us live in harmony and peace. And the result of our harmony and peace is the fellowship of God Himself, the one and true God of love and peace. Today chose maturity by being an encourager and live in harmony and peace with those around you.

QUOTE

Spiritual encouragement, therefore, is applying biblical principles to every situation with a view toward bringing each person into right relationship with God. At times spiritual encouragement may ‘feel’ harsh. It may not be what one ‘desires’ to hear. That may be true regardless of how gentle the words are which are used. As people fallen from grace we often don’t want to hear the truth. We often just want to hear what will make us feel better. In the end, however, only true spiritual encouragement can be used by God to touch the soul of one.

Richard Roberts

TODAY'S PRAYER Dear Lord, help me become more and more mature. Help me be an encourager, living in harmony and peace with everyone I come into contact with. Thank You Father, that when I do make this effort to obey You that You are right there with me filling me with Your love and peace. Help me love like You do. In Jesus' name. AMEN

Things do go wrong

Isaiah 54:10

"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

I Corinthians 14:33

For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Sometimes we have those days that you just want to go home and hide under the covers , Do you ever have those days i do . This pass week
me and a friend went to another church because they had a class we wanted to take that was in this church bulletin but we could not find the class and we ask many people but no one seem to no where it was , So we decided to go back to the church we originally go to , After the service we wanted to go back to the other church because there service started so we left to get there and there was a car accident so we had to wait to get through ...My friend said we should of went another way
but by then it was too late , The good news we got to the church on time , my morning was already going bad things was just crazy but i know God is not the author of confusion and that things in life just happened to steal our joy ..When i we got to the church it was more then a blessing and it was where God wanted us to be to here this message .
Sometimes when things go wrong God has something great for you just around the corner ..Have faith that he will see you through and remember that the devil is like a roaring lion seeking to see who he can devour to get you discouraged.

Quote

Complaining about the weather seems to be a favorite American pastime. Sadly, we Christians often get caught up in this ungodly habit in our society. But when we complain about the weather, we are actually complaining against God who sent us our weather. We are, in fact, sinning against God (see Numbers 11:1).

Jerry Bridges

Dear Lord help us not to complain but to look to you in all things because your love for us is to walk the path you has directed us to go of being not conform to the things of the world .
Help us to not be like the children of Israel who complain for 40 years
but to depend on you as our source of hope and to cast all our cares upon you in Jesus name Amen

Never Forsaken

Never Forsaken

TODAY'S VERSE Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'" Hebrews 13:5

TODAY'S THOUGHT

One of the first things they teach you in marriage communications is to stay away from using emotionally fatalistic words like "never" or "always", as in, "You never help around here!" or "You always waste money." It is very rare that human behavior is "always" or "never". But what about God? The Bible makes it clear that His ways are not our ways. In Romans 3:4 it says, "Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true!" Now consider today's verse in light of the fact that God does not lie. Moses tells us to be strong and courageous and not afraid. The author of Hebrews wrote to be content with what you have. Why all the optimism? Why the courage? Because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." God Himself has said to you and I, "Never." Never. NEVER! Let it sink in - He will never leave you or forsake you! Today, right now, let this fact change your day. Let it reshape your emotions. Let it precede all your decisions. He will never leave you or forsake you.

you can give your baby up , you can buy a house and lose it , you can lose your wife or husband , as the bible says until death do us part
or your partner can leave for another person ..but in all in all Jesus said i will never leave you nor forsake you

TODAY'S PRAYER Father, I wander through most days with so much doubt. Perhaps apathy is a better word. I live as if you half exist. I haven't taken most of your promises seriously. I have not been content. Most the time I am not strong or courageous. Forgive me for this. Instead, help me today really grasp what it means that you will never leave me or forsake me. In Jesus Name. AMEN

Our Deepest Longings

Our Deepest Longings

TODAY'S VERSE "His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him-though he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and exist." Acts 17:27-28 (NLT)

TODAY'S THOUGHT God's purpose has always been that we fellowship with Him. He has built us with what Anne Halley calls our "Core longings for love, security, understanding, purpose, significance and belonging." We all need to have these fulfilled and we were made to have them fulfilled in fellowship with God. The people of Athens were searching for truth. They had a temple filled with a multitude of gods and yet they asked Paul to come and share about Jesus. Paul's message cut to the heart and exposed their deepest longings. He shared that these longings could only be met in God for in God, "we live and move and exist." It is coming to God, fellowshipping in His presence, feeling safe enough to be vulnerable and expose our lack of fulfillment and let Him fill the deep core longings of our heart. We must come to a place where we believe the TRUTH- that when we cry out to God and move toward Him, He hears and responds and meets us and fulfills our need for love, security, understanding, purpose, significance and belonging. Today, come to Him, fellowship with Him. As Paul said, "He is not far from any one of us." Bring Him the deep longings of your heart and find your place in Him.

TODAY'S PRAYER Dear Father, I come today and lay before You my deepest longings for love, security, understanding, purpose, significance and belonging. Thank You that in Jesus Christ all my longings are met. Come fill my heart and help me live, move and exist in You. In Jesus' name. AMEN

Why Doubt

Deuteronomy 4:31
For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which he confirmed to them by oath.

Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Sometimes this life can drag us down , bad things just go on and on at times and Sometimes we do things we should not do and then we doubt.

Sometimes we question God what is he doing or is he working in our lives but our God is control even when we dont see it , I remember a old saying in a song , He holds the world in his hands .
God is holding us but it is by faith we must believe he is and that he is a rewarder to those who seek him. God will not lie to us his word is yes and Amen . If your feeling alone and rejected by others you can cry out to God for he surely understand's that we are made of dust and is ready to deliever us .

QUOTE

Christ never failed to distinguish between doubt and unbelief. Doubt is can’t believe. Unbelief is won’t believe. Doubt is honesty. Unbelief is obstinacy. Doubt is looking for light. Unbelief is content with darkness.

Henry Drummond

prayer

Dear Lord help us in these dark times of life when we get confuse and not knowing the unknown . Help us dear lord to not doubt like we do at times but by faith help us enter into your rest. Forgive us if we sin and help us to fight the fight which is laid in front of us in Jesus name Amen.

Renew your Strength

Renew Your Strength

Learn from Eagle
When a storm is coming, animal instincts send all animals running for cover. The eagle, however, sits upon his perch and wait for the storm.

When it comes, instead of flying for cover, it flies into the storm. Although he is tossed and buffeted, jerked and jolted, he keeps flying into the storm until the heavy winds lift him higher than the clouds, and he soars above the storm ("storms" of life). Imagine how beautiful it is.

During time of waiting, even when it is not easy, we should continue to trust God for He is faithful. He will protect you and be with you even when you cannot see or feel it. His joy is your strength (Nehemiah 8 :10) and you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. (Philip4:13).

TODAY'S VERSE "We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. - we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. II Corinthians 4:8-9, 15-16 (NLT)

TODAY'S THOUGHT Do you know that you have a divine purpose? You do. God has chosen you to live for Him. He wants to live His love and passion through you. You are His ambassador. No one knew this better than the Apostle Paul. He knew he was a messenger of God to bring God's love to those that did not know Him. And in doing this Paul suffered many physical and mental trials. But one thing was sure, he did not give up. How was Paul able to press on against insurmountable odds? Where did he get the strength to persevere? He received his strength from God. He wrote, "Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are renewed every day." We can experience the same thing. We can come to the same God who gave Paul strength and cry out, "Lord, help me. Renew my spirit. Come and give me the strength I need to get through this time." And He will. So today, don't give up. Come to God and be renewed. Get your strength from Him and be about the purpose that God has called you to.

TODAY'S PRAYER Dear Jesus, I thank You that I will never be abandoned by You. You will never let me be completely crushed or destroyed. Instead, I come today to be renewed. Renew my spirit I pray and give me strength to live for You. AMEN

True Light

True Light

TODAY'S VERSE "If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the Lord and rely on your God. But watch out, you who live in your own light and warm yourselves by your own fires. This is the reward you will receive from me: You will soon fall down in great torment." Isaiah 50:10-11 (NLT) "Satan disguises himself as an angel of light." II Corinthians 11:14 (NLT)

TODAY'S THOUGHT When we are in the dark, we tend to think that any light will do. But that is not true. I started one night on a four hour hike into a deep forest along a mountain trail. I had no choice, I had to go. But to my dismay, all I had was a flashlight with poor batteries. As the light failed, the walk ended up more like eight hours. You can't tell me that the kind of light you have doesn't make a difference. It was the hardest trek of my life because the light I had was no good. The prophet Isaiah is warning us that when it gets dark, we need trust in God, not our own light. How often can we become deceived by good sounding logic? Paul warns us that Satan comes to us masquerading as an angel of light! Today there are all kinds of self-help messages. While a lot of what is said is good, nothing can replace the light of God, His word and His presence. Spend time with Him. Use His light. Nothing else will light up your path like the light of Jesus and his word.

TODAY'S PRAYER Jesus, You said that You are the light of the world. Please come today and direct my path. Show me the way. Keep me from falling prey to a deceiving light and false direction. I commit myself and my journey to You. AMEN

Show Some End Time Love

Show Some End Time Love!

Matthew 24:12-13 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

The Bible speaks of a great falling away in the last days (2 Thessalonians 2) before the end of the age arrives, and it seems that we’re seeing it on a grand scale all around us. Virtually everywhere we look we’re watching the decline of morality and ethics — in government, entertainment, and social culture. It seems hard to deny that we’re living in the final days of abounding iniquity which Yeshua (Jesus) foretold.

This is not an easy time for true believers. The evil around us can be so discouraging and the darkness so oppressive that it really threatens our ability to walk in love. Yet the reality of the gospel is brighter and more relevant than ever in this world. And the inner light of Messiah burning in us will be all the more intense and warm in this gloomy landscape, if — and only if, we fill our lamps with His holy oil and burn with His last days love. Anti-Christ culture is permeating our society. But we respond with the enduring culture of Messiah, a culture of supernatural love that will not die.

Take heart and don’t be deceived or discouraged, or allow your love to grow cold. These signs of the end are simply proof that God is on His throne and His sovereign Word is being fulfilled exactly as He spoke it. Continue in His love. Radiate His light. Wherever you are, wherever you go, bring His love. Love will endure, even forever.

PRAYER

Dear lord help us to be ready for your coming and not draw back to the old ways ..I pray we grow closer to you in these last days
because you can come any minute in Jesus name Amen

I Do what i don't want to do but do it anyway

I know that nothing good lives in me, That is, in my sinful nature. For i have the desire to do what is good, but i cannot carry it out.

Romans 7:18

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

We live in a very dark world and its easy to get off track of our relationship with God , But he promises he will never leave us nor forsake us if we press in with our relationship with Jesus and don't give up the fight .

Sometimes even with the new nature of God in us that's of you have accept Jesus as your lord and savior but sometimes we say or do things that we should not do
Paul in The Book of Romans understood that struggle If your not a christian
you would not understand because you must know the nature of God who lives in you and it cant happen unless you accepted Jesus as your personal Savior .

We as christian do fall sometimes and slip but a Godly man picks himself up
Romans 8:1 says there is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
God will give you the strength to walk in the spirit because his spirit lives in you
as for Paul in Romans 7 Paul battle between the flesh and the spirit and he wanted to do right always did wrong ..but in verse 25 of Romans 7 he said I thank God through Jesus Christ our lord he has set me free.

That is why Jesus died for us so we dont have to worry because he loves us so much and we are secure in him as our personal savior.Jeremiah 10:23
O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.

QUOTE

The flesh hates everything about God. Since it resists everything about God, it resists every way we try to taste Him and know Him and love Him. And the more something enables us to find God and feast on Him, the more violently the flesh fights against it. It takes its battle to every quarter of the soul: When the mind wants to know God, the flesh imposes ignorance, darkness, error and trivial thoughts. The will can't move toward God without feeling the weight of stubbornness holding it back. And the affections, longing to long for God, are constantly fighting the infection of sensuality or the disease of indifference.

Prayer for the Christian

Dear Lord help us in our weakness when we fall short and when we feel weak
help us to walk in the spirit not the flesh but most of all thank for loving us in our
weakness because then we become strong in Jesus name Amen

Prayer for those not Christians
if you want to accept Jesus say Dear Lord i know i am a sinner and i need you into my life and i want to follow you as my personal savior ..so i ask you to forgive me for my sins
and ask you come into my heart as my personal savior Jesus ....Jesus save me in Jesus name Amen

If you prayed that confess it to someone because confession is very important dont be a shame to tell some one and Jesus will not be A shame to tell his father in heaven Amen

Search my heart

Search My Heart

Greetings

TODAY'S VERSE "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." Psalms 139:23-24 (NLT)

TODAY'S THOUGHT The Bible says that David "was a man after God's heart." What a tribute. Contrary to what we might think, this was not because David was perfect. He knew how easy he could fall into sin. He remembered how God had to wake him up from an immoral stupor through the rebuke of Nathan the Prophet. If anyone could have created the slogan "No perfect people allowed," it was David. David had to give up the "perception of perfection" in order to renew a close relationship with God. When God convicted David of wrong doing, David repented, asking God to have mercy on him. In order to stay in a close relationship with God, David decided to allow God to speak to him about his behavior. He prayed, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." How about you? Do you feel far from God? Who moved? What is stopping you from coming back? Is it pride? Is it anger? Is it the false notion that you don't need to? Let us join David in becoming a man after God's heart, not through the false ambition of perfection, but through the daily, honest and open relationship with God that allows Him to search us, point out what we are doing wrong and then lead us along the path of following Him. .

TODAY'S PRAYER Father, I come to you today and pray what David prayed so long ago, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." AMEN

God saw it was good

GOD SAW IT WAS GOOD

God created all things and saw it was good
Psalm 103:13
As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
thought for today

God created man in his own image and then created woman and saw it was good
he also created the beast the animals, I love to go to the zoo and to see the many kinds of animals that God has created as i look at them they are all so created just right and everything is in place . When i was little i remember i use to hate my ears or ask many questions like why wasn't i taller or why didn't i have a another color or skin color , but God said when he created man that he saw it was good so i learned and i am still learning to accept myself as God has created me ,When i do that i learn to accept others because it all starts with us . We must learn to love ourselves as God loves us .
God made you special and not like anybody elese . He knows the numbers of hair that is on your head .

quote for today

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Gen. 1:1). …When these words were first written, they presented a challenge to all religions of the world. They made a claim for the God of Israel, the God of the Bible: He alone is God; He alone is the Creator. Ever since, they have challenged the philosophies and world views of mankind, and continue to do so today. They affirm, without reservation, that the universe in which we live is not an accident, not the chance result of ‘nature’ or ‘evolution.’ It is the handiwork of the living God.
